Family Day Care Hervey Bay

Churches of Christ Care Family Day Care Hervey Bay is a not-for-profit, community based scheme providing quality care for children from birth to 12 years of age.

Family day care is a home based child care service providing monitored care within a family environment in the approved homes of registered carers. Parents, carers and coordinators work together to provide quality child care and parents are able to choose the carer who best suits their needs and the needs of their child.

Child care is provided in the homes of registered carers in Hervey Bay, Howard, Toogoom, Burrum Heads and Dundowran.

Our carers are engaged to look after up to seven children at any one time. Within those numbers a maximum of 4 children can be under school age.

Hours of care

The hours of care are flexible and can be matched to your family’s needs. The type of care provided includes:

• full-time care
• casual care
• care for children of shift workers
• before/after school care
• vacation care
• weekend and overnight care
